Treatment for symptomatic after swab collection and before receipt of RT-PCR test

With reference to the above subject and reference, technical advisory committee discussed that in the cmTent epidemiological scenario of COVID-19 in the state, the test positivity is about 30% and also there may be time lag for receipt of the report following swab collection. Hence it was  recommended  to start the treatment  to the persons who are symptomatic and also to those  who are in high risk  and  primary contacts  in the house hold immediately.
