This is Kislay Komal, I am raising fund for my childhood friend Jagan. Around two weeks back, he along with his wife and 2 kids tested positive. while other recovered with home quanratine, Jagan’s condition started detoriating with time. Unltimately he had to be admitted to the hospital with oxygen bed. His oxygen Level is critically low and doctor also advised to get the plasma therapy done. Jagan’s job was already gone just before Covid hit him and being a single bread earner for his family, he was trying to do some freelancing work. While he is fighting this battle, his family needs support. Jagan’s treatment is costly and needs funding support from us to meet the cost.

The second wave of Covid-19 has proved to be a massive disaster in India. The traditional artisans, whose only source of income is making crafts and selling them, have been impacted very badly due to disruption in day to day activities and lack of orders.
Artisans, especially rural women from North Eastern Indian States create beautiful sustainable crafts using natural fibers and grasses that has many admirer around the world. They are totally dependent on the regular work orders they get from these craft lovers.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic, these artisans are struggling in many ways and are:
– Unable to meet daily needs of food, cloths, medicines & treatment.
– Unable to buy raw materials required for craft making.
– Unable to take care of their kids’ education and nutritious food.
There are many who have died due to lack of funds and remaining cant survive without our support.
